Primers are the quickest way to achieve the effects of false lashes without the hassle of actually putting them on. Yea yea yea, I know there are so many mascaras out there that claim to give you “the look of false lashes” but honestly, the best way to get that look is by adding a primer. Most primers will do the trick, but there is one that blows the other primers out of the water: DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum. This primer has actual fibers that won’t flake off or harden up, but instead they coat the lashes and attach to the tips of your lashes to literally give you added length and volume. I know it’s kind of pricey at $28.50 but it is so worth the money… I LOVE this stuff! Also, apparently this primer has a nourishing serum treatment that promotes long-term lash growth, strength, and vitality… but I am not sure how much of that is fact vs marketing lol. What I can confirm is that it really adds length and volume to your lashes.
I have tried the primer under a lot of different mascaras, but there are two I keep going back and forth with: Hourglass Film Nior Full Spectrum Mascara and L’oreal Voluminous Mascara ( <– still one of my favorite mascaras ever). Try the primer with your current mascara and let me know how it works!
Although, applying false lashes is just as easy IMO (practice makes perfect of course).
